Vandalism
Vandalism is a crime. If those who carry it out aren’t taken to task and punished for the severity of their crime, irrespective of how trivial it may seem to them, then they will continue to do it. The mindset of the people who commit vandalism is often such that it can lead to further more serious crimes if not dealt with – whether it is a solo act or gangs of people that are doing it, the concept of there being no retribution breeds confidence in what they are doing. Whether it is damage to property, graffiti, fly tipping or antisocial behaviour, there is a cost to businesses, which is unacceptable.
